India, Aug. 4 -- Guar gum futures declined on Tuesday as weak demand in the spot market and ample supplies weighed on prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August guar gum contracts fell Rs 32, or 0.27%, to Rs 11,734 per quintal, with an open interest of 32,450 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to subdued spot demand and higher arrivals from key growing regions, which continued to put pressure on guar gum prices.
