India, Sept. 18 -- Guar gum prices rose Rs 262, or 1.98%, to Rs 13,461 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, supported by firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for October delivery traded higher at Rs 13,461 per quintal, with an open interest of 77,605 lots.
Analysts said the rise was driven by fresh buying by traders amid firm trends in the physical market.
