India, March 5 -- Guar Gum prices increased by Rs 38 to Rs 9,718 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday as traders expanded their positions amid strong demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery rose Rs 38, or 0.39%, to Rs 9,718 per quintal, with open interest at 39,735 lots.
Analysts said the firm trend in the physical market prompted traders to increase their bets, pushing guar gum futures higher.
