India, March 4 -- Guar gum prices on Wednesday declined by Rs 87 to Rs 9,625 per quintal in futures trade as traders reduced their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 87, or 0.90 per cent, to Rs 9,625 per quintal in a business turnover of 38,415 lots.
Marketmen said subdued demand in the spot market along with ample supplies from producing regions exerted pressure on guar gum prices.
