India, Sept. 29 -- Guar gum prices declined Rs 62, or 0.48%, to Rs 12,496 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, tracking a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for October delivery recorded a business turnover of 53,955 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to sluggish spot demand and ample supplies from growing regions, which weighed on guar gum prices.
