India, July 8 -- Guar gum futures slipped on Wednesday as traders pared their positions amid weak demand and a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for July delivery fell by Rs 88, or 0.74%, to Rs 11,727 per quintal, with an open interest of 23,765 lots.
Market analysts said sluggish demand in the physical market, along with ample supplies from producing regions, weighed on guar gum futures prices.
