India, May 21 -- Guar gum prices slipped on Thursday, with futures falling by Rs 24 to Rs 11,653 per quintal as traders reduced their positions amid weak spot market sentiment.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for June delivery declined 0.21 percent to Rs 11,653 per quintal, with a business turnover of 66,775 lots.

Market participants said subdued demand in the physical market along with ample supplies from producing regions weighed on guar gum prices.
