India, April 20 -- Guar gum futures eased on Monday, slipping Rs 56 to Rs 11,391 per quintal as traders reduced positions amid a soft trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, May delivery contracts fell 0.49% to Rs 11,391 per quintal, with trading volume at 60,825 lots.

Market participants said subdued demand in the physical market, along with ample supplies from producing regions, continued to weigh on prices.
