India, Oct. 30 -- Guar gum prices declined by Rs. 25, or 0.16%, to Rs. 15,450 per quintal in futures trade on Friday as market participants reduced their holdings amid weakness in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for November delivery fell by Rs. 25 to Rs. 15,450 per quintal, with a trading volume of 45,465 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to subdued spot demand and ample supplies from producing regions.
