India, July 21 -- Guar gum futures fell on Tuesday, with the August contract declining 2.37% or Rs 284 to Rs 11,683 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).

The decline was driven by profit booking and weak demand in the spot market, while ample supplies from key producing regions continued to weigh on prices. Market participants attributed the weakness to subdued buying interest and improved availability of the commodity.
