India, July 30 -- Guar gum futures traded lower on Thursday as weak spot market demand and higher supplies weighed on prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August guar gum contracts fell by Rs. 58, or 0.51%, to Rs. 11,360 per quintal, with an open interest of 46,020 lots.
According to market participants, subdued demand in the spot market, coupled with ample supplies from key producing regions, exerted downward pressure on guar gum prices.
