India, Oct. 27 -- Guar gum futures prices fell by Rs 166 to Rs 15,148 per quintal on Tuesday, as traders offloaded their holdings amid weak trends in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for November delivery declined by Rs 166, or 1.08%, to Rs 15,148 per quintal, with a business turnover of 59,550 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to subdued demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions, which weighed on guar gum prices.
