India, July 6 -- Guar gum futures moved higher on Monday, with the July contract rising Rs 23, or 0.20%, to Rs 11,313 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).

The contract recorded an open interest of 34,495 lots, as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the physical market. Analysts said stronger spot market sentiment encouraged fresh buying, supporting gains in guar gum futures.
