India, June 16 -- Grasim Industries Ltd. has inaugurated the first phase of its CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) resin manufacturing facility at Vilayat, Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in its specialty chemicals business expansion.

The development follows the company's earlier agreements with Lubrizol Manufacturing India Private Ltd for the production of CPVC resin in India and the construction of what is planned to be the world's largest single-site CPVC resin manufacturing facility.
