India, Aug. 27 -- Gold futures prices traded largely flat at Rs 1,59,650 per 10 grams on Thursday, weighed by subdued demand in the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery were down Rs 13, or 0.01%, at Rs 1,59,650 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 9,291 lots.
Earlier in the session, gold futures declined sharply by as much as Rs 2,971 to an intraday low of Rs 1,56,692 per 10 grams, compared with the previous close of Rs 1,59,663.
