India, July 29 -- Gold futures declined on Wednesday, with the August contract falling Rs 158, or 0.11%, to Rs 1,41,465 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

The contract recorded a business turnover of 375 lots.

According to market analysts, weaker spot demand weighed on gold prices. Meanwhile, in the global market, gold futures were trading flat at USD 4,031.22 per ounce in New York.
