India, Oct. 5 -- Gold futures declined nearly 1% on Monday, as a stronger US dollar weighed on bullion prices and limited the metal's recovery.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for December delivery fell Rs 1,020, or 0.68%, to Rs 1,49,370 per 10 grams.
The decline follows a 2% drop in gold prices during the previous holiday-shortened week, when the yellow metal fell Rs 2,887 to close at around Rs 1.50 lakh per 10 grams.
