India, July 14 -- Gold futures advanced 0.93% on Tuesday as firm demand in the spot market and fresh buying by traders supported prices.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the August contract gained Rs 1,303 to Rs 1,41,612 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 1,095 lots.

According to analysts, fresh positions created by market participants, coupled with strong spot demand, drove the rise in gold futures.
