India, Oct. 29 -- Gold futures prices rose by Rs. 102 to Rs. 1,43,807 per 10 grams on Thursday, supported by firm spot demand and fresh position-building by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for December delivery increased by Rs. 102, or 0.07%, to Rs. 1,43,807 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 811 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptick in precious metal prices to fresh positions taken by market participants amid firm demand in the spot market.
