India, Sept. 7 -- Gold futures declined Rs 462, or 0.3%, to Rs 1,52,305 per 10 grams on Monday, weighed down by weaker demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery fell Rs 462 to Rs 1,52,305 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 1,390 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to soft spot-market demand, which weighed on buying interest in the futures market.
