India, Sept. 23 -- Gold futures declined Rs 216 to Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams on Wednesday, pressured by softer demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery fell Rs 216, or 0.14%, to Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 867 lots.

Analysts said weaker spot demand remained the primary factor weighing on gold prices in futures trade.
