India, May 4 -- Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that Gautam Doshi will cease to be an Independent Director of the company effective May 4, 2026, following the completion of his second consecutive term. His tenure officially concludes on May 3, 2026.
With his exit, Doshi will also step down from his roles as Chairman-member of the Audit Committee, and as a member of the Risk Management Committee as well as the CSR & ESG Committee of the Board.
The company stated that the cessation is in line with regulatory norms governing the maximum tenure for Independent Directors. It also clarified that Doshi is not related to any of the company's directors.
