India, Sept. 23 -- Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd (GHFL) and specialty chemicals major Lubrizol have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development and manufacturing of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)-based film solutions in India.
The partnership will combine Lubrizol's TPU technology and materials expertise with GHFL's engineering, processing and manufacturing capabilities. The companies plan to develop high-value TPU products for applications across automotive, architectural, industrial and electronics segments.
The initiative will also help GHFL backward integrate into TPU films for its premium Paint Protection Film (PPF) business. The company is investing approximately Rs 118 crore in the TPU film extrusion ...
