India, March 24 -- DBS Bank India has announced the launch of its direct tax payment facility after receiving authorization from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), strengthening its digital banking offerings for both individuals and businesses.

With this development, the bank is now enabled to collect direct tax payments through the TIN 2.0 platform, further enhancing its tax payment ecosystem. This addition complements its existing capability of facilitating Goods and Services Tax (GST) payments.
