India, March 18 -- Crude oil futures declined on Wednesday, with prices falling by Rs 137 to Rs 8,734 per barrel, as easing supply worries amid ongoing geopolitical tensions weighed on the market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for March delivery dropped 1.54 per cent, or Rs 137, to Rs 8,734 per barrel, with a trading volume of 5,244 lots.
Meanwhile, the April contract also edged lower, slipping Rs 98 or 1.11 per cent to Rs 8,746 per barrel, recording a turnover of 14,676 lots.
