India, March 5 -- Crude Oil prices climbed Rs 185 to Rs 7,055 per barrel in futures trade on Thursday as traders increased positions amid firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, crude oil for April delivery advanced Rs 185, or 2.69%, to Rs 7,055 per barrel with a turnover of 2,385 lots.
Analysts said increased buying by market participants supported the rise in crude oil futures.
