India, July 7 -- Crude oil futures prices rose Rs 63, or 0.96%, to Rs 6,614 per barrel in Tuesday's trade as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for July delivery traded at Rs 6,614 per barrel, with a business turnover of 4,619 lots.
Market analysts said fresh buying by participants, supported by firm spot demand, lifted crude oil futures prices.
