India, July 20 -- Crude oil futures climbed 2.5% to Rs 8,108 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the spot market.
The August contract gained Rs 198 to trade at Rs 8,108 per barrel in 4,816 lots. Market analysts attributed the rally to fresh buying by participants, supported by strong spot demand.
