India, Aug. 6 -- Crude oil futures rose on Thursday, with the August contract gaining Rs 81, or 1.4%, to Rs 7,190 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

The contract recorded a business turnover of 8,168 lots during the session.
