India, Aug. 27 -- Crude oil futures prices declined Rs 126 to Rs 7,771 per barrel on Thursday, tracking weak global trends and subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for September delivery fell Rs 126, or 1.6%, to Rs 7,771 per barrel, with a business turnover of 7,020 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by market participants amid weak spot demand weighed on crude oil futures.
