India, Aug. 21 -- Crude oil futures declined in Friday's session, with prices slipping Rs 18 to Rs 8,286 per barrel as subdued global cues and selling pressure weighed on the market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the September contract dropped 0.22 per cent, or Rs 18, to Rs 8,286 per barrel, with 3,477 lots recorded in turnover.

Market analysts said traders reduced their positions amid lacklustre demand in the spot market, adding to the downward pressure on crude oil futures.
