India, July 27 -- Crude oil futures declined 4.87% to Rs 8,185 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, tracking weak global trends and selling pressure from market participants.
The August delivery contract fell by Rs 419 to Rs 8,185 per barrel, with a business turnover of 10,482 lots.
Analysts said traders offloaded their positions amid weak global sentiment and subdued demand in the spot market, weighing on crude oil prices.
