India, Sept. 23 -- Crude oil futures fell Rs 82 to Rs 8,561 per barrel on Wednesday, tracking a weak trend in global markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for October delivery declined Rs 82, or 0.95%, to Rs 8,561 per barrel, with a business turnover of 5,406 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to selling by market participants, along with subdued demand in the spot market.
