India, Oct. 27 -- Crude oil futures prices fell by Rs 31 to Rs 9,692 per barrel on Tuesday, as investors booked profits amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for November delivery declined by Rs 31, or 0.32%, to Rs 9,692 per barrel, with a business turnover of 5,135 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to profit-booking by market participants, who offloaded their holdings, putting pressure on crude oil futures prices.
