India, Sept. 16 -- Orient Green Power Company Limited (OGPCL) said that CRISIL Ratings has upgraded the credit rating of its material subsidiary, Beta Wind Farm Private Limited, to CRISIL BBB/Stable from CRISIL BBB-/Positive.
Beta Wind Farm operates 241.6 MW of wind energy projects across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka. The upgraded rating applies to its Rs 617.79 crore rupee term loan facility from IREDA, with the outstanding amount currently at Rs 456.68 crore, compared with Rs 478.74 crore as of March 31, 2026.
CRISIL said the upgrade reflects healthy operational performance, improved power generation and stronger cash accruals, which have enhanced Beta Wind Farm's debt-servicing capacity.
