India, March 4 -- Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 32 to Rs 3,385 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid rising demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 32, or 0.95 per cent, at Rs 3,385 per quintal, with an open interest of 17,440 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, driven by increasing demand for cattle feed, mainly supported cottonseed oil cake prices.
