India, Sept. 18 -- Coriander prices rose Rs 192, or 1.34%, to Rs 14,180 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, supported by strong demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for October delivery climbed to Rs 14,180 per quintal, with a business turnover of 23,150 lots.

Market analysts said prices were supported by higher spot demand and restricted supplies from producing regions.
