India, July 24 -- Coriander futures gained more than 1% on Friday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and limited supplies from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the August contract rose Rs 166, or 1.05%, to Rs 15,608 per quintal, with a trading volume of 21,970 lots.
Market analysts attributed the price increase to robust spot demand coupled with restricted arrivals from key coriander-producing regions.
