India, Oct. 29 -- Coriander futures prices rose by Rs. 160 to Rs. 16,550 per quintal on Thursday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for December delivery advanced by Rs. 160, or 0.98%, to Rs. 16,550 per quintal, with a trading volume of 17,355 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in coriander prices to increased spot demand and limited supplies from key producing regions.
