India, Aug. 10 -- Coriander prices rose Rs 40, or 0.25%, to Rs 16,190 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, supported by strong demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for September delivery advanced to Rs 16,190 per quintal, with a business turnover of 11,985 lots.

Market analysts attributed the gains to higher spot demand and restricted supplies from key producing regions, which supported coriander prices.
