India, Oct. 19 -- Coriander futures rose by Rs 498, or 3.03%, to Rs 16,950 per quintal on Monday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery gained Rs 498 to trade at Rs 16,950 per quintal, with a trading volume of 270 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise to increased spot market demand and limited supplies from major producing regions.
