India, Aug. 21 -- Coriander futures moved lower on Friday, with prices declining Rs 78 to Rs 16,202 per quintal as traders reduced their exposure amid limited buying interest in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the October-delivery contract slipped 0.48 per cent, or Rs 78, to Rs 16,202 per quintal. The contract had an open interest of 19,090 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to weak spot demand, while profit-booking by speculators added to the selling pressure in futures trade.
