India, July 23 -- Copper futures erased early gains to trade marginally lower on Thursday, weighed down by subdued domestic demand and weak global cues.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July delivery contract slipped Rs. 2.05 (0.15%) to Rs. 1,334.65 per kg, while the August contract declined Rs. 3.90 (0.29%) to Rs. 1,347 per kg.
Market sentiment remained subdued amid weak domestic demand and softer global trends for the base metal.
