India, Aug. 19 -- Copper futures prices declined by Rs 3.40, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 1,365.15 per kg on Wednesday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for August delivery traded at Rs 1,365.15 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,123 lots.
Market participants said weak demand from domestic consuming industries exerted pressure on copper prices in the futures market.
