India, July 13 -- Copper futures declined on Monday, with the July contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) falling Rs 7.30, or 0.56 percent, to Rs 1,286.30 per kg.
The decline was driven by subdued demand from consuming industries in the domestic spot market, which weighed on sentiment in the base metal. Traders said muted buying interest from key industrial users kept copper prices under pressure in futures trade.
