India, Aug. 12 -- Copper futures prices rose Rs 4.15, or 0.30%, to Rs 1,383.30 per kg on Wednesday, supported by firm demand in the spot market and increased buying interest from traders.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for August delivery traded at Rs 1,383.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 880 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper futures to increased bets by market participants.
