India, Aug. 20 -- Copper futures prices rose Rs 1.40 to Rs 1,373.50 per kg on Thursday, supported by stronger demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for August delivery gained Rs 1.40, or 0.10%, to Rs 1,373.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 8,500 lots.
