India, July 3 -- Copper futures rose 0.95% to Rs 1,287.05 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, supported by firm demand in the spot market and increased buying interest from traders.

The July delivery contract gained Rs 12.05 per kg, with a trading volume of 2,314 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to fresh positions built by market participants.
