India, Sept. 15 -- Copper futures prices declined by Rs 2.35 to Rs 1,358.10 per kg on Tuesday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for September delivery fell 0.17% to Rs 1,358.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,021 lots.
Traders attributed the decline to subdued demand from domestic consuming industries, which weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
