India, June 16 -- Copper prices slipped in futures trade on Tuesday as subdued demand from consuming industries weighed on market sentiment.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery declined Rs 9.90, or 0.74%, to Rs 1,330.85 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,853 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to muted demand in the domestic spot market, prompting traders to reduce their exposure in copper futures.
